internships

“Seek peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into excite. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” -Jeremiah 29:7

PURPOSE

To discover and develop your God-given calling while serving in the local church.

The purpose of the River Church Internship Program is focused on helping you discover and develop what God has put on your heart in the context of the local church. Our goal is to then help send you out toward the direction God may be leading you. Through this process you will grow as a leader, a person, and as a follower of Jesus. This Internship will provide hands on training in a variety of areas in the local church as well as your specific area(s) of interest.

It will be customized for you!

Special note for Colorado Christian University (CCU) Students:

This is a great way to plug into a local church near campus, discover, serve and grow while fulfilling your 180 Ministry Hours required for graduation.

life groups

Did you know you were designed to thrive in community with other believers and grow in your faith together? Life Groups are the friends you gather with regularly, grow closer to Jesus together, and go out and serve with.

We believe Christ-centered community happens most effectively in small groups - typically 8 to 12 people who meet together in homes or at church for fellowship, study and prayer. The heart of our Life Groups is to facilitate growth in three different types of relationships: our relationship with God, our relationships with other believers, and our relationships with those outside the Christian faith.

River Church has groups for all ages and stages of life, and they meet at various locations in and around Lakewood. Our Life Groups meet on several different weeknight evenings, and there are also gender-specific Bible studies and Sunday morning classes available to those wanting to get more connected to the life of our church.

For more information on Life Groups, studies, and Sunday morning classes, please contact Chandler Blake at cblake@RiverChurchMovement.org or (303)233-3430 x3.

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another — and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
