This is a bimonthly respite night for children and adults with disabilities and their families. These 3-hour events offer a night off for parents and caretakers while our All-Stars engage in adaptive sports, arts & crafts, karaoke & dancing, and a chapel service. Every All-Stars is paired up with a volunteer buddy.
All Stars Club is a place of belonging for friends with special needs. They aim to provide first-class experiences for individuals with special needs and their families that offer opportunities to have fun, meet new friends, and live out their Christian faith. While observing how the Church has widely underserved those with disabilities, they are working with local churches in building a grassroots effort to develop a volunteer base that is compassionate and energized about serving the needs of the special needs community.
Watch this orientation video. No experience needed in working with our friends with special needs, but this video is essential to understanding a volunteer's role more clearly.
Register online to volunteer.
Plan to arrive at the host site no later than 5:15 p.m. on the day of the event for a short Q&A with volunteers then begin welcoming our All-Stars. All volunteers are required to wear an All-Stars t-shirt so there is a one-time fee of $10 for new volunteers or volunteers needing a new shirt. Thank you and have a great time making an impact in the lives of our All-Stars and their families!
